About us

With the ever decreasing ability to land fill waste, (much of which could be recycled or reused), organic vegetable based materials must end up being land spread and consequently  absorbed by the soil, which is then in turn taken up as nutrients in the growth of plant life.

Cattle & Land along with associated businesses intend to research and develop methods for the regeneration of these materials and their integration into the soil,  concentrating on the best low tech methods for "on farm composting" where the end product is used on farm as an aid to reducing the need for artificial fertilizers.

We also have the facility to develop specialist equipment required to spread composted materials for use in horticulture, market gardens, fruit growing and amenity greens .

Our director Edward Holt has been involved with agricultural/land based enterprises since the seventies and brings a varied wealth of experience to the business.
